A beautiful piece of studio pottery from Rachel Frost depicting the Cooling Towers that once stood at Power Station in Ironbridge, Shropshire. This piece has been wheel thrown using earthenware clay and hand painted with coloured slips, in her studio in Broseley, Shropshire.
Each piece is unique as no two pieces are ever the same and will be similar rather than identical to the image shown. Due to the nature of this product being handmade you will find slight imperfections and marks left by the process. These contribute to the uniqueness and beauty of the forms and are simply part of the character of the individual piece.
Bases are unglazed.
